Horse Coat Colors
with Ann Streett-Joslin
Ann Streett-Joslin does an excellent job of breaking down a rather complex subject and making it clear and easy to understand! With an informative PowerPoint presentation, and a step by step approach to the topic of how genes affect the various colors of a horse, you will walk away with a much better understanding of color genetics and why it is hard to “breed for color”. Whether you know very little about this science, or think you know quite a lot, you will gain many new nuggets of knowledge in watching this presentation. You will also learn some things about horse coat color history and things to watch out for in striving for that perfect “horse of a different color”.
